THE SILENT DAGGER TRAILER

This is my new Trailer for The Silent Dagger. The original film was re-edited with new title, music and plot themes a few years back. You can watch it HERE. The voice-over is AI generated and is a quote by Woodrow Wilson about a shadowy power that controls everything through fear, intimidation, targeting and assassination in order to silence dissidents. The ‘silent dagger’ is a code they use for the slow kill of a targeted individual.

There are 2 different versions of the trailer with alternative opening shots of a knife being flicked open, the ones on Youtube (above) and Rumble are the original edits and the ones on Brighteon & Bitchute have the alternative opening shot, I couldn’t decide which one was best so I upload both.

I’ve made a new video, it’s a bear dancing to Syd Dale’s Three Bears. I couldn’t find this song on Youtube and ended up making a video for it, it’s one of Syd’s best. Syd Dale was a Library music artist from the 1960’s his songs would be used for adverts, TV shows, and are still used today. See Father Ted Pat Mustard theme (off the top of my head), he also did the 60’s Spiderman cartoon, plus other things you’d recognise.

THREE BEARS

I’ve also uploaded some other stuff for archive purposes, this is because I can’t embed videos on this blog so have to put them on my media channels first them paste them on here.

The first is a collection of teasers and adverts I edited to publicize my music and music videos by The Rivers including The Best Demo Tape Ever! Yes, the words of EMI not me, we recorded at EMI studios. You can hear a bit of Right Now (the vocal version) we recorded for them on the teaser video. I might try and do something with this at some point, restructure it, etc. The others are a Take a Little Longer teaser, 2 Kubrick’s The Shining ads (for Shining recorded at EMI) and 3 Mini Ads featuring Tina Turner, Sinead O’Connor and Carly Simon. Plus there’s The Hollies for Nothing Without You with strings which still needs completing.

THE BEST DEMO TAPE OF ALL TIME

The 3rd video is of 2 homage scenes from my short film fantasy epic Torquemada! The Hitchcock Homage is set to Bernard Herrmann’s music for Vertigo, and the 2nd is a musical sequence edited to John “Springtime For Hitler” Morris’ flamenco music from Mel Brooks’ Hitchcock spoof film High Anxiety.

I been a searchin’ for ma little ol’ goose… where could he be? Look there he is, he’s behind that tree!

Not done anything much lately, shall have to finish that trailer but I can’t be bothered although I think its quite good. I’ve done the first half but it needs some fast editing when the drums kick in. It looks quite good with the flashing black and white which are markers for the clips, I can’t post videos on here but you can watch the rough version of it on my X account (link at bottom). I’ve still got 3 music videos to complete but I can’t be bothered doing them. Need to focus!

I tried to do Mikey’s Monkey Spunk Moped but Mikey’s head kept changing shape. The Elvis one has audio sound effects on it but you’ll have to find it on my twitter feed because I can’t upload it on my blog, I’m sure it will be worth your while.

LUKE THE DRIFTER

I’ve been trying to get Hank Williams to sing Always Get By as Luke the Drifter. I’ve done an intro using AI voice cloning. I can hear where the singing comes in but it’s unlikely I’ll be able to complete it with melody parts. Here’s the intro anyway, take it away Hank.

I’ve just had a big smelly dump and it was most satisfying, left a bit of a pong though. In other news I’ve done 3 instrumental mixes of my all time classic song Always Get By which took me TWO MONTHS to edit together a couple of years back. I sampled the drums and bass from Wichita Lineman.

FIRE IN PARADISE

The hottest party this summer!

I’ve been on a bit of a Grok bender over the last few days and done quite a bit of stuff. I pasted in some of my artwork into GrokImagine to see what came out and the results are pretty cool. Grok AI has a surreal quality that I like and has become my new collaborator!

I’ve made a Trailer and an Advert for Fire In Paradise as well as a few other things which are in the video I’ve uploaded. I’ve brought my artwork to life for Epstein’s Wacky Races, The Covid Beatles and one of my favourites Crunts! Unfortunately I can’t upload videos directly to my blog so I had to bung all the short clips onto one video. You can watch them individually on my X account though (see link at bottom).

FIRE IN PARADISE & OTHER DELIGHTS

The Trailer bears very little resemblance to the script synopsis I did for FIRE IN PARADISE but then again I only had 4 images I could use plus one I created for the poster. I couldn’t get the Stephen Hawking image to work but Grok gave me some interesting alternatives to use. The poster took me almost as long as the video to make, about 2 days, but this led to the advert being created and the end shot in the Trailer.
